5 out of 5 stars This Weber lets you grill or cook on the side burner.   June 30, 2010

After two weeks of use I am very pleased with the solid build quality and performance of this highly-rated grill from Weber (headquartered in Palatine, Illinois). My grill shipped from Portland, Oregon and required a couple of hours of assembly. Natural gas doesn't burn as hot as propane but with all three burners full on, the built-in thermometer read 560°. Not having to haul propane tanks to and from the store is a great advantage and you never run out of gas in the middle of a barbecue!Weber 3851001 Genesis E-320 Natural Gas Grill, Black

I have only had my Weber Genesis E-320 natural gas grill for about two weeks but it is already proving to be an excellent purchase.
I like the heavy cast iron cooking grates. I like the solid feel to the whole grill. Natural gas does not burn as hot as propane, so I was
worried that the natural gas may not provide as much heat as propane grills, but Weber has obviously designed it properly.
It heats quickly, and the heat is very even over all the grill surface.

Assembly: I have seen reviews where people say they assembled this grill in less than two hours. Well, I admit to being a little OCD,
and I wanted this grill to be perfect, so it it OK that it took me about 5 hours. The box, as delivered, weighed 196 pounds according to
the shipping slip. The delivery person brought it in to my garage and placed it where I requested. He was very professional.
If I was shipping priceless glassware and china to Indonesia, I would try to get the people who packed this grill to pack my stuff.
The box had excellent handling, as there were no crushed corners or any damage of any kind, but I think it would have survived an
earthquake without damage. It is always a little worrisome to order large expensive items online, but Amazon and Weber have it down
to perfection. I enjoyed putting it together, and now can appreciate the design and engineering that goes into a Weber grill.

Even the side burner deserves recognition. It is built WAY better than cheap grills. It is very similar in parts and design to our
kitchen gas range, and puts out serious heat. I am looking forward to enjoying this grill for many years.

5 out of 5 stars Grilling Bliss   June 8, 2010

I haven't had this grill for a month yet, so this review won't touch on long term pros or cons. However, I can say that the short term review is this: Simply Brilliant.

I've grilled hamburgers, steaks, brats, hot dogs, chicken breast, ahi tuna kabobs, Copper River Salmon fillets and portobella mushroom sandwiches. I've used the Weber 7519 Gas Grill Rotisserie to do a beef roast and two whole chickens. I've used the Weber Style 6434 Professional-Grade Vegetable Basket for asparagus, mushrooms and peppers. I've used the Cuisinart CW-128 8-Inch Stainless Steel Grilling Wok with Removable Handle to make fried rice. I've made bacon and eggs in the morning on the side burner. Heck, I've even used the Weber Style 6430 Pizza Stone to heat up a frozen pizza.

(Yes, I like to grill.)

In all of this, I can think of only one thing that didn't turn out perfectly, and that was due to user error.

Here are the pros:

* Super simplicity. Incredibly easy to start, quick heat up time, and great temperature control.
* Excellent heating. I had 16 hamburgers on the grill, and they were all cooked the same. No hot or cold spots. The three burners allow for great control of direct and indirect zones. Best grill I've ever used for long, slow cooking over a low heat.
* Did I mention how easy it is? Direct line hook-up to the home's gas supply means no charcoal to deal with or tanks to refill.
* Looks snazzy, feels solid. If this isn't a long lasting grill I'll eat one of the cooking grates.

Here are the cons:

* It wasn't free. (I can dream, right?)

This is the best grill I've ever used, and the only regret I have is that I didn't buy it sooner.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome Grill   June 7, 2010

Bought on Amazon. Arrived via ABF in original carton. The carton was perfect and fit sideways through our small patio door. I was able to assemble the whole thing by myself with the help of a power drill/screwdriver. Took about three hours as I did not want to make any mistakes. The assembly directions are pictorials which are reasonably decipherable. The parts were packed methodically so I had no trouble taking them out of the box by myself.
This is a natural gas grill and requires a dedicated outdoor gas outlet. All the connectors are included in the contents. Initially, I couldn't get the temps above 350-400 degrees! But, soon realized that all the burners were set at the lowest flame settings. Now, the temps routinely get over 600 degrees. Awesome. Get gloves.

I you have the time, then order online. I easily saved about $200 which I applied towards the Weber Grill Utensils.
